The weather was great yesterday, and we went to Sentosa as planned :) :) :)
Spent the whole morning there with my cousins, and Fluffie swam in the sea and ran around on the entire beach. There were multiple photo-shoots going on at the beach when we got there, and i later found out that all the models clad in skimpy bikinis were competing in some FHM competition. Fluffie kept running over to the photographers' area, and at one point, a few of the photographers started snapping shots of her as well. Haha.
Pooi and Sean were there too! And Fluffie was sooooo happy to get her very own baked salmon with carrots and corn :) A BIG THANK YOU from me and KISSES from Fluffie!
Too bad i didn't manage to get a shot of the food before Fluffie finished it, but this photograph is for both of you...Fluffie's first very own HAPPY BIRTHDAY sign!

It has been a very fulfilling three years for me, and when i first set eyes on Fluffie
back in 2006, i would never have known that she would change my life forever.
This was Fluffie at 3 months old (in July 2006), my very first snapshot of her...
she was all active and bouncy, and only slightly bigger than the size of my palm.

The next picture shows Fluffie at 6 months old (in October 2006). She had just gotten spayed, and we placed her gingerly in Cheryl's old bed, where she promptly fell asleep. I remember her being in a lot of pain after the surgery, but also excitedly wagging her tail when she saw us walking into the vet's room to bring her home. She was a real fighter, eating and drinking as usual immediately after her operation, and making a full recovery within a week. My brave little princess!

When Fluffie was 1 year and 5 months old (in September 2007), we met with an unexpected traffic accident, and i almost lost her. Two strangers ran after her and managed to get her back to me, and every day of my life, i am and will continue to be grateful to them. Following the accident, Fluffie had a hernia operation to remove a growth at her stomach that had come about due to the impact of the crash, and she once again made a full recovery within days. Back then, it took me a while to bounce back from the shock and damage, and having Fluffie by my side provided me with enough courage and the immense strength needed to do so.

We went through another exceedingly difficult period when Fluffie was 2 years and 4 months old (in August 2008), and i know that it was hard for her to have to adjust to a completely new routine, to not have Chloe by her side. It was a trying period of lots of pain and tears, and Fluffie did much better than i thought she would, proving to be a major pillar of strength to me once again.

Today, Fluffie turns three! Even though she was exhausted from the outing yesterday,
she kept herself awake and eyed my every movement throughout the day, till we finally took her out for dinner at Sembawang Park. So, Fluffie had a five-course dinner in celebration of her third birthday! Yummmmm!

Two years ago, on a special day, someone told me that he wanted me to be the happiest girl in the world, and would do anything to make that happen. At that point in time, i did feel like i was the happiest girl in the world. So today, as my little girl celebrates her 3rd birthday, amidst the re-cap of all the milestones in her life thus far, i am going to pay forward all the love i've received and make a commitment to her.
Dear Fluffie,
Mummy will work even harder from now on to make you the happiest and healthiest dog in the world! I want you to grow well and live well, and i will
love you more with each passing day. Happy Birthday little darling!
